Construction sites are high risk workplaces, and Queensland's First aid in the workplace Code of Practice recommends at least one trained First Aider for every 25 workers on a high risk site. Our HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course gives you that ticket, with CPR included.
The course has two parts: a short e-learning module you complete online before the course, then a 3.5-hour practical session at one of our training centres, where you'll practise CPR, bandaging and emergency scenarios with your trainer.

First Aid includes CPR, so if your employer needs you to be a First Aider, book this course. If you only need to refresh your CPR, the CPR course is all you need. Electricians usually need the LVR & CPR course.
Nationally recognised units don't have an expiry date, but the First aid in the workplace Code of Practice recommends renewing your First Aid every 3 years and refreshing CPR every 12 months, and most employers follow it.
One photo ID, such as a driver's licence or passport. We provide all the training equipment, so just wear casual clothes, and make sure you complete the e-learning before your session.
